Happy Father's Day!

I am so blessed to have such a wonderful dad who loves me so much.  He would do anything for me and my family.  Thanks Dad for being such a great person and example.

I am also so very blessed to have my husband be such an amazing father to my children!  I just love to see them interacting and see their strong connection he has created and built with his two girls.  He is such a great example for them and we all just love him so much!

Beach Vacations

Wow, I am a really slack blogger, apparently.  We recently went on our 2 beach vacations and had so much fun on both trips!  We went to Seabrook Island with the Lawsons, my parents, and to Myrtle Beach with the Merchants, Micah's parents.  The kids had so much fun on the beach this year, loving the waves and the sand.  It was fun to watch them enjoy themselves so much.  They of course loved being around all their special people for the whole week.  We took A LOT of pictures while on both vacations, but that would take forever to upload, so here are just a few pictures from our vacations!

Our Saturday

We spent most of our Saturday outside this past weekend because it was such perfect spring weather!  Micah spend all day working in the garage and UN-packing all of the things, which was pretty much everything, that he had packed in our POD.  For those of you who don't know, the people who were supposed to buy our house in a week decided not to about 2 weeks ago.  (It's a long and frustrating story!)  SO, we have been spending the past week UN-packing all of our boxes we had already packed, in preparation for our "move".  So we are now trying to re-sell our house and having to get everything in order for people to come look at our house, hopefully!  BUT, this post was supposed to be about a cute little girl, as seen below. ;)  While Micah was cleaning up and organizing the garage, he pulled out some baby items that he wants to get rid of, since we are done having kids (we think).  (Oh, and don't worry Marisa, we are saving it all for you for when you and Thomas decide to start your own little family! :)  Camdyn decided to crawl in to the baby carrier and just chill out!  She stayed in that same position for about 15-20 minutes.  It was so funny.  She's such a sweet, laid back babydoll!  We just love her so much!  No pictures of Kylee from Saturday because I couldn't get her to stay still long enough! 

Cuddle Time with Daddy

So I ran to Hobby Lobby tonight to get fabric to make the girls Easter outfits and this is what I found when I got home!  Micah had bathed them, dressed them, and gave them their milk and was having cuddle time with both of his girls.  Don't I have the most precious family?  

Then Kylee asked her daddy to read them a book before bedtime.  These special times with our family makes all of the stress of life melt away, if only for a little bit.

Kylee is 3!

Can't believe my big baby girl turned 3!  We had a princess party for her at SilverJax Gym, where she tumbles during the week.  We had a big bounce house/slide and kids LOVED it!  It is such a great place for a party because you can let your kids run wild and not worry about watching their every move. 

 

So, I had originally planned on making Kylee a castle cake and I even did a practice run...it's a good thing I did because it didn't look very good!  I think I will stick to cupcakes!  So I ordered this cute princess cake from BILO.  It was yummy!

We got a "pull-string" pinata where you pull one string at a time and only one on them opens the door for the candy to come out.  It worked out really well and Cinderella didn't get a beaten and we get to keep her around!

Little Aydan learned how to climb up the ladder for the slide and she did the whole thing all by herself!  She's such a big girl and she was proud of herself!

Poor Camdyn was sick and had an ear infection for the party, but she was a trooper and hung in there.  She even gave us a few smiles!  She really liked Uncle Wes playing in the ball pit with her!

Aydan got a hug after the party from the birthday girl!  

After the big party, we took the family to Bellacino's and ate some yummy pizza for dinner!  We got them to pose for a few pictures before we left.  This is Camdyn's new face she does!

Sweet cousins!  Jacob loves his cousin "Sissy" and was making sure she didn't fall off of the chair!  I have a feeling he's going to be protective over her!

Kylee had SUCH a wonderful birthday!  It makes us so happy to see her happy on her birthday and that makes all the money and work TOTALLY worth it!  Happy Birthday to my precious baby girl, Kylee!  We love you to pieces!

The Kids' First Snow!

We had so much fun playing in the snow!  We got about 8-9 inches, which is ALOT for us!  Kylee really loved playing in it and sledding down a hill in the woods behind my parent's house.  Camdyn liked it for a few minutes but couldn't walk in it very well.  She had to sit in it mostly which made her pants soaking wet.  But she really loved looking out the window at it!Yep, that's my nephew Jacob pinched in the middle of Micah and Kylee!

Probably the last picture of our house before we move in March!  For those of you who don't know, we are selling our house and closing on it March 31st.  Now if we could decide on which house we are going to buy!  We thought we had that covered, but the house inspection did NOT go well, so we are trying to find another house to buy!  At least we got to be in this house for our first snow!!

Kylee's First Day of Preschool

Kylee went to preschool at Trinity for the first time this year!  We didn't send her in the fall and just decided to send her starting in February.  She LOVES it!  She has been having a hard time at home getting bored and not wanting to share with Camdyn, so I thought this might help her and me!  She gets to get out of the house and play with her friends and learn new things all at the same time!  She went when she was in the 1year old class and liked it, but really seems to enjoy going and get excited about going which makes me so happy to see her happy!  The first morning I told her she was going to school she would not take off her backpack (aka "pack-pack")  She wore it over her PJ's and kept asking me to take pictures of her.  I finally got her dressed and got a picture of her with her backpack on right before we left!

My baby is walking!

Camdyn has been walking now for about a week or 2.  She still crawls some, but she's actually starting to walk more than crawl now and she is doing great.  She still falls, especially when her lovely sister "accidentally" bumps into her.  I just can't believe my baby is walking!  It feels like she was just born!  Although, I will say that I am kind of looking forward to not having kids in the "baby" stage anymore.  I may be singing a different tune later, but for now it is great having 2 toddlers!  I have some pictures of her walking, but I also have a video I was going to try to upload when I figure out how!

Time to start blogging!

I have been thinking lately about starting a blog for my family and just haven't had the time.  Not that I really have the time now, but when will I ever if I don't do it now?  Don't know how often I will update, but hopefully I will find a little time here and there to post something!
